Most phone manufacturers have some sort of separate cloud backup that can store your photos, videos, texts, files, etc. Don’t forget to check Google Drive, too sometimes photos are stored there. But, if you still haven’t located the elusive image, there are some more things to try out. Hopefully, your photos are back in their rightful place, and you’re good to go. If the download option doesn’t appear, it may say something like ‘Delete from device.’ This means that Google Photos is still detecting that photo in your phone’s gallery. Now, tap the ‘Download’ option in the menu that appears.If you’d like to share it with another app, tap on the share icon at the bottom instead. Then, tap on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. Open Google Photos and tap on the image you’d like to recover.
